Biological warfare: Thoughts on helplessness
DIP, Volume 7, Number 4.

Dermatologists need not feel helpless in the face of a potential bacterial warfare attack – pretty scared, maybe ill, possibly dead, but not helpless. Why do I say this? Well, because that’s exactly what it says in an article in Archives of Dermatology1 (at least, the first part of the sentence is, anyway – I made up the second). While it grieves me to cite an American paper from an American journal, the biological warfare paper contains too many conversation-stopping snippets for me to miss the opportunity to tell you a few of them.
