Non-melanoma skin cancer DIP, Volume 15, Number 3.
Non-melanoma skin cancers (NMSCs) are the most common cancers in the UK, steadily increasing in incidence since the 1970s. NMSC has always remained more common in men than women and increases with age in both sexes. There are around 400 deaths annually from NMSC, although rates are low in patients under the age of 50.
