A history lesson

Nothing pleases a dermatologist more than when you are able to astonish your physician colleagues by pulling a diagnostic rabbit out of the hat. One condition that always fulfils this criterion is scurvy. Cases do still appear from time to time and it remains a clinical diagnosis, confirmed by the dramatic response to oral vitamin C.
