Spring arrives...

The arrival of spring has not come too soon, following an ever busier winter in the NHS with ambulances queuing outside the emergency departments, shortages of beds necessitating rapid decision-making and early ward rounds to maintain patient flow. It is good to be able to enjoy breakfast looking out on the garden as the plants begin to push through and snowdrops flourish.
