Turmoil, targets, machines and the psychodrama...

 

The past couple of months have been quite hectic, with the receipt of our Care Quality Commission report, contributing to the required action plan, responding to concerns around ambulance turnaround times, starting to work out how to address the ‘partial booking waiting list’ problem (where follow-up patients wait longer than planned) and, to cap it all, the problems over the tax bills for medical staff and their reluctance to do the additional shifts, clinics etc upon which the NHS relies – you couldn’t make it up!
