This autumn issue of Dermatology in Practice includes two articles from Alisha Sophie Imran and Ian H Coulson on common mistakes in dermatology, both focusing on angioedema. As the authors explain: “While being a relatively common feature of chronic spontaneous urticaria, angioedema can also occur acutely because of immediate hypersensitivity reactions or as an adverse effect of certain medications.
